Frequently Asked Questions

I need to get a visa. What should I go?

The easiest way to enter Korea is using a tourist visa. The ADI is not a business and is too short to be an official course of study, so we cannot offer you Business or Educational Visas. Apply for a tourist visa.

I still need an invitation letter, to get permission from my school/parents/visa office.

Send us your details (full name, address and what else you need on the letter) and we will send that to you. Use the online contact form to send us this request.

The ADI registration fee does not include accommodation, so where can I stay?

You need to find your own accommodation. We have a list of places close to CAU that you can stay at. If you are finding a place online, try to find a place that is close to line 7 or line 9 on the subway. CAU is in Heukseuk-Dong, email you hostel and ask them how far that is from them

Can I get a refund if I withdraw?

It depends when you withdraw. Your registration money is used to pay for flights and accommodation for trainers, bookings of venues, purchasing your t-shirt etc. All these things happen at least one month before the ADI.

If you cancel your registration more than 1 month before, we can give you a full refund (minus the cost of transferring that refund to you).

Cancellations less than 1 month before means we can only return 50% of your registration fee.

If you cancel two weeks before the ADI, we cannot guarantee any refund.

I don't have a team, can I make a team at the ADI?

Yes! Many people come without a team and make teams at the ADI. In fact we encourage you to make a team with someone from a different country or school, as this is a unique experience you cannot get elsewhere. You can make a team with your university friends all the time!

I can't participate in some mornings/afternoons, because I have classes/appotinments/cosmetic surgery, can I still participate in the ADI?

Yes you can. You shouldn't miss too much, because that will affect the rest of students who will be in teams with you, but if you have to miss one or two days, that's okay. You will still have to pay the full registration fee.

Where should I send the money?

After your online registration, you should see a page that shows you the account details. We don't want to publish these details on the website for security reasons. If you missed those details, email us and we'll send you the payment information.

How do I know if I have been registered?

Registration is complete only when you have transferred your registration fee. After you register online, you should send the registration fee to us based on when you are paying (standard or late registration). After you transfer the fee, send us an email with your transfer information (name and account of sender, sender's bank, date of transfer, amount of transfer) so we can track your transfer. Once we ensure the amount you transferred is in our bank, we will confirm your registration. Please give us 3 working days to sort this out because sometimes transfers take time.

The international transfer fee is a lot. Can I pay on arrival?

We understand it's a hassle to make wire transfers internationally, but we need some guarantee that you will attend because we are investing money on your behalf. If you can send us your confirmed travel information (for example, a copy of your plane ticket) with your name and dates on it, then we will wait until you get here to collect your payment.
